The Dangers of Abortion Laws After Rol
A new study shows that abortion laws have triggered dozens of health complications in pregnant women around the country. The most common type of complication is a condition known as PPROM, where a woman's water breaks before the fetus can survive on its own. In one case cited in the report, a patient was sent home after her water broke between 16 and 18 weeks of pregnancy only to return to the intensive care unit two days later with a severe infection. After Rol, many doctors reveal that they've been turning away patients with this condition for fear of violating the abortion ban in their state.
