It's te way for the us. Government to issue debt a lot faster than they would otherwise be able to, because now you can park the debt on the bank's balance sheet withouta arge to the bank,. Because they can borrow 98 % of the money for next to nothing. So its, it's more that it a, it facilitates the issuance of debtcee monitizes the debt. And having the collateral property now at the treasury level, im like set the stage for a pos gold or, you know, it's correlated with the post gold world where we needed a new form of perfect collateral and the treasury served that function going forward, post pustcold.
