The Future of the NHS

More staff will help, but the NHS must catch up with other comparable countries. We do lag rather shamefully behind similar nations in terms of MRI scanners and early cancer diagnosis - so what is the solution here? Is it more money for capital investment and IT system upgrades? I think it's also perhaps about the workforce mix. A lot of that is about educating all of us as patients to perhaps not automatically expect to see a doctor, a GP, if we go to our local practice.
