The Reason You Should Argue on the Internet Isn't About Convincing the Bystanders
i think you should argue on the internet if you can do so respectfully and thoughtfully. And emerge from it with a more nuanced understanding of the world around you, which is very, very rare. i don't believe that there is no good or interestingor critical conversation happening on lines. I have seen it in my own life. The quality of conversation on line is notor ously a poor and sometimes it's so bad that you just have to remove yourself from the conversation. A, to be honest, i think my life is better for it. But, like, i don't quite think that it's never because i i, for one, ah, for many, many years
