My brother Grant was always afraid of heights. He would get scared half way up, and it would be an hour of coaxing before he managed to climb down. Just the climbing up and down ladders was a particular sort of torture for Grant. The first time we saw him was when I broke my arm. It was about a year ago, just after Halloween.
