The Best Way to Get Rid of a 10 Xer Is to Let Him Go
There's nothing that makes a work environment worse than surrounding a 10 Xer with low caliber employees. When I'm letting somebody go, I almost never, ever, ever insult them or talk about the negatives. A culture is not beer pong tables, keg raters in the office and all these fun things. The best way to piss off an A player is to surround them with B and C players.
