The Challenges of India's Offshore Wind Sector
The government is doing the right thing to say, let the first expansion be offshore wind. I think that's the way at least a conceptual roadmap has to be built. Is it going to be easy? No. Fundamental changes like land laws and making it easier for industrial to access land investments in infrastructure with its be substations, evacuation or transmission will take time. One potential bottleneck that I see is availability of talent.
