In the book developing talent and young people we see that these exceptional musicians usually almost always come from a family that is obsessed with music. They get their kids to practice for like you know ten hours a week or whatever it is when they were only having a single lesson per week. The author of this says non-significantly more time actually for the high achievers so they actuallyNon-significantly means that there's no statistical significance. So it looks like it's just a random kind of noise. But it apparently maybe takes slightly more time for the people who get up to the top levels to pass the early levels than for thePeople who only stopped earlier.
