Many peoplee have had this glazed opinion of germany over the last fwo years. Do you think that this image has finally been broken in britain? I'll deal very briefly with the russian point. Russia is a great country, no question about it. A great history, great culture, people. But it has always suffered from disastrous leadership. It has never had a democratic government. What russia needed was investment from the west. And it did eventually get that, but without the democratic and human rights progress that should have been the quid pro quo. You know, russia is a dictatorship which has exploited capitalism and used the proceeds for military might.
