Oswald's Defection to the USSR

Oswald joined the Marines when he was 17 and trained as a radar operator. At 20, Oswald traveled to the Soviet Union where he lived in Minsk with his new Russian wife. He later married Marina Prusakova; they had a daughter who was born in February 1962. After returning from his defection to America's enemy in the Cold War, Oswald received a small loan from the U.S. government. The Payne family would also get Lee Harvey Oswald his job at the Texas Book Depository.
