The Negative Effects of Commercial Property on Your Investment

A lot of this is going to get passed back onto your tenants, and whether it's a natural CPI increase or because one of the risks we're seeing as well. The property that we use as an example on this show was about a million bucks. I put 40 grand in my back pocket every month. That's a very different number now rather than being 2.5 grand a month interest repayment. It's like 4,700 bucks now, right? So it's eroding it quickly. And by the way, that asset sits in my super fund where my superannuation contributions need to start paying for the upkeep of a current property I have. So I'm essentially going backwards.
