Is There a Way to Make Platforms Transparent?

i like this idea of the individual and the government incentives being alligned for certain kinds of things. And so to me it seems like, you know, one way to get the incentives alined is to just require greater transparency from platforms. No one knows what the hell is going on inside these platforms and what the algorithms do all day. I can certainly see some benefits in an approach like this. But i also think that over the next few years, we're going to see the conversation around data property rights start to intensify.
