The FTC's Disclosure Rules for Endorsements

A good source of those horror stories are the headlines that we see from the FTC and there's a few that come to mind. The liability for not complying with those rules extends to the brand any marketer advertising agency involved in whatever the problematic piece of content or campaign is. It also includes anyone who's making the endorsements whether that's a creator or a blogger or whoever it is and really anybody else to had some real involvement in putting that campaign out there.
