God's Infinite Strength - The Second Pillar

The psalm opens with exactly where it is going verses. There is a sense in which verses two to 11 fill out what is declared in verse one. Verses four and five expand on this nearness, this presence, this withness of god in our crisis. And even then, even as he now endures war, as we looke to the end and got endure war, tumult, chaos, raging nations in our day, he does so with patience. War will cease. It will there will be a full an enduring final peace. God will see to it with his very divine strength. As martin luther said, one little word shall fail the devil.
