The Rule of Three

Early horseshoes included metals that were often thought to have magical powers. The oldest known horseshoes were made out of plants and leather. Modern horseshoes are usually made out of steel and lightweight alumin. It's often said that bad things happen in threes. Three is a strong number in the human brain.
