Is There a Field of Forces in Political Hegemony?
The more I think about hegemony, the more excited I get about it. The goal isn't just like a workers party, he uses labor as an anchor. He is showing that there's a broader field of forces and then concretize it in how these individuals respond to those relations that they're bearing up on. And some people make different choices. Those choices will sometimes, if they aren't part of the broader movement, they won't work out. But it does say: Your individual identity doesn't affect how you're gonna respond to these constraints.
