What's the Technology of Voting Machines?

Voting machines have come under a lot of suspicion, we can get to that. But one of the things that machines did was create two ways of checking a number. And to the extent that you've got one register of how many votes there were, kept by people unsigning, and then another register of howmany votes the machine is keeping, it becomes harder to tamper with it. Not impossible, yin the early stages, but harder.
