Data bases have been a major sticking point in my career. I remember taking a class at berkeley on data basisad in being i found it interesting, but it was something that you do for extra credits. But as soon as i got out in to industry, anything was my first start up in the docom boom. And it became immediately apparent that these things would need to be sharted the scale that we had.
