If you replace just 3% of your calories from animal-based protein with 3% of calories from plant-based protein, you do better. I also recommend they have two heaping tablespoons of hemp seeds, chia seeds or ground flax seed meal each day to help them get the ALA that will hopefully be converted to omega-3s. And then I say if it has a face or comes from something with a face, don't eat it.
