The Importance of Faith in Justification
Paul teaches that Christians are justified by faith and not by works of the law. Why isn't faith considered a work, asks Paul in Romans 3 28. "We're justified on the basis of the righteous of the whole work of Christ alone through faith alone," he says. We can sometimes almost go too far and start to treat it like a theology textbook with kind of constraints and rules which aren't necessarily how the Bible is trying to operate.
