After more than a decade abroad, I started to question that identity about myself and whether or not that was really like the wisest thing long term. A global pandemic came about and I thought there's no where I'd rather be in a global pandemic than my home country. And so I got a chance to kind of re-experience America with my passport not being useful at all. "I can think a little bit more long term. I bought myself some runway," he says.
