Abu Bakr's Plan to Protect Medina
Abu Bakr's first and foremost concern was to protect Medina. He knew he couldn't do but so much until Osama returned from Syria with the army. Once Osama returned, his plan was to bring these different tribes back into the fold of his leadership. Ultimately, however, most of that did work out.
