The Problem With Our Public Discourse Is That It Lacks Imagination
I think, from my vantage point, the problem is that our public discourse tends to be locked in these binaries. I want to know, what kind of society is it that creates that as a forced choice? To me, its i's illegitimate. It's an illegitimateb ary to begin with. We need the fundamental problem we have right now is not about rights. Certainly, rights are important. But in the bigger picture, the problem is one of moral imagination.
