How Do You Motivate People?

Public policy matters so much. You have to provide some motivation ato politicians or reala policy staff, or whoever is making these decisions. If us, if us policy gets things right on tech and innovation, those great global public goods spill over the rest of the world. And then how do you get those incriminal reforms? Working with policy makers, you can't impose self on to the process like these people are very busy. It's why we don't focus on state and local policy and whyt, we don't do international policy. But we allshould tink this is the most important lever to pull in wrd global policy, because so many other countries follow us.
