CHAPTER

Is There a Special Selection in Humans?

We've been selected to be a very physically active and do a lot of endurance phisil activity, but also to do that as we age. And so one prediction is that physical activity may play a more importnt role in maintaining a health span in humans than in other creatures. There doesn't seem to be any evidence for that. They're not senessing at a slower rate. So far, the evidence suggests that this is really phenomenon. It may be special to humans, or it may be, more intensely, may be shifted up in units.
