There's not much first person narrative in scripture, is there? Well, I think the biblical authors move freely from third to first person. And this starts with Moses and then it continues with David in the Psalms and books like Daniel and Isaiah. So you see in verse six of chapter 11, he writes, there shall be a great cry throughout all the land of Egypt. This is when the firstborn is killed, such as there has never been nor ever will be again.
