When i was teaching at law school, one of the things we had to do was we had to have students squaring off against each other in a particular case. So you can actually ask people to play, or require people to play devil's advocate as a class room exercise. But what about an economics class? Tell your students that supply and demand curves are a fact of economics,. ok, encouraging people to bet right?
