What's Going on With Scadriel?

Scadriel has gunpowder weapons and electricity before any other planet in the Cosmere. Technology development, like if this was a game of civilization, Scadriel is number one. Autonomy is number two and they didn't like being beaten. And we haven't seen anything about White Sand in a very long time.
