How to Start a Sabbath Ceremony

In the traditional Sabbath ceremony called the Kedush, you begin by lighting two candles which represent the two Sabbath commandments. To represent the presence of God's life and life coming into your time and your home, you pray, you eat a Sabbath meal with your family or and your community. And then after Sabbath, you end by praying and sharing some of the highlights of your Sabbath.
