Buster Keaton's character is unbearable at the beginning of "Mastering" But he lives. That they grow to care about each other makes this a much more powerful film. The father, a completely different kind of man. He's being outclassed by a guy named King. It takes time for him to determine I do want to earn my father's love. And we'll get to the scene where that happens.
