The curu kingdom was centered in the upper ganges valley, right around what's now delhi. The curu king started to standardize these sort of evolving indo arian traditions. They also began to codify the verna system, which divided society into four ranked classes. There was the emergence of a distinct brahman class of priests, achers and poets.
