What Is a Spartacus?

Spartacus is maybe the most famous gladiator of the ancient world. He was sent to capua, where he trained in one of these gladiatorial schools. They led a revolt and went off to mount vesuvius - well before the famous explosion. And they use that as a refuge for slaves from the region who join them. The romans raise an ex-roman army which fights back against spartacus' men. But it doesn't end there: Spartacus isn't killed but crucified by crassus.
