The Power of Obedience

Gift is kind of some sort of sacramental effort to unite with the other. If love is both that benevolence, that goodwill we have for the other and uniting with them, gift is kind of a means to do so. But also, that obedience that we, that I was mentioning earlier, like the power that you have over me, it's not just like a claim that you have. It actually arises in my soul because I love you. So, but that is like totally free. You can't force it at all.
