The History of the Arta Chastra
The authorship and editorship of artashastra is uncertain. Different parts were probably written between about the second century b c and the third century c e. The coma sutra is a guide book on romantic love, sex and sensuality. And then ther other shastras dealing with fields of knowledge like medicine, chemistry, architecture, various art forms. Out of that massive corpus of works, some of those texts deal specific ywith the worship of particular gods.
