The King Haggai and the Son of Ido Are Mentioned in Ezra Chapter Six, Verses 1 and 2
Haggai is mentioned alongside zachariah in ezra chapter five, verses one to two. The bible seems to present a medo persian alliance before the Persians became more prominent. Cyrus encouraged the return of peoples to their homelands and by his decree supported the jews' return to judah.
