I think that Thomas is getting at the problem that was when liberalism took the place of religion. I'd say America has its churches and mosques and whatever today. And we need those institutions inside as well because we need to have this game where pro-enlightment will get their places in society. Otherwise we're just going to buy into the Chinese dream right away and create another form of like a Christian tourney, which won't work.
