The Ethics of Ozempic Medication for Weight Loss
There has been a big debate about whether ozempic should be prescribed to children since we have an, you know, obesity, pricing America. Met analysis did find that the medication did cause weight loss and the side effect profile in that study was not horrible. But there is this kind of black box warning on these medications, warning patients against things like pancreatitis and thyroid cancer.
