Gadhafi has become just a more brutal version of his old betnoir, king edris. If he is not lining his own pockets with libya's oil wealth, then he's blowing it in huge quantities on terror groups and military hardware. He has no problem procuring arms and armaments from the soviet union. In one single missive, he dashes off an order for six thousand tanks, one thousand war planes and 200 ships.
