The Gospels as Eyewitness Testimony

Our way in to the Bible is through Jesus. Unless you're Jewish and culturally Jewish, you're getting into the Bible through Jesus. You have to like, you see the Old Testament the way Jesus saw the Old Testament. A friend of mine who, who like left the faith because it was like when Jesus said, you know, ask, it'll be given to you. He's like, did Jesus really say that? What if you like, first of all, I've tried that and it didn't really work?"
