478. How Can We Break Our Addiction to Contempt?

Freakonomics Radio

CHAPTER

Is There a Common Enemy of Contempt in the United States?

Every movement actually starts with a few people. The presedent united states used coved to divide, as opposed to using cove to unite. What i would love to see isb den not being in thrall of the loudest voices on his own side. If you want contempt to be in the rear of iew meary, get a stand o of people on your own side. And if byden would start to appoint some good, moderate republicans to high ranking positions and do really, really moderate things, it would be enormously beneficial for bringing us together. It's too soon to tell, because the cycle is still really upon us.
