The Importance of Sailing Experience

Sailing is a practice and we become more proficient at any given time the more we are sailing. I'd say probably the number one is a great attitude that, you know, someone who's just optimistic,. They're willing to pitch in and solve problems and just be a team player. And then sailing experience actually comes second, I would say after that attitude. It works better sometimes, if you have a clean slate, if you are comfortable enough that you can get the person up to speed.
