A seven centimeter long bruise on kevin's neck indicated that he'd been killed by someone pressing a hard, sharp object against his throat. A stick found near the shed was around one centimetre thick and broken in the middle. Testing revealed a child sized hand print in the bark, as well as several hairs attached,. leading to the conclusion that this was the murder weapon. Flurescent clothing fibres were found on the path, although none were detected on the pallate or on kevin’s body.
