This is the latest in a long string of cases led by Edward Bloom, a stockbroker-turned-activist who has spent the past 30 years of his life fighting to end the use of race in our nation's public policies. The facts of this case have been disputed; Harvard says they don't discriminate against Asian students. They just have far more qualified applicants than they have room for. Kimberly Robinson was at the court for oral arguments all five hours of them.
