The Bench Press, I've Got a Question About Exercising the Bench Press
Exercising the bench press, i had a procedure done several years ago to fix shoulder impingement. I have made decent progress and got it up to 60 for three sets of five. However, as it has got heavier, i am starting to notice pain lingering on my shoulder after training. Feel i may not be able to push it too much more without causing more issues. How would you recommend programming for the bench? Should i just do sets of five where i don't have pain and maintain or should i try to do heavy singles or doubles and then back alf sets to keep the pain from coming back? Correctly. Bench twiceaw press twice a week.
