The Effects of Dopamine on the Brain
Dopamine is involved in that feeling of craving, but it's also released when you get the reward. The feeling of the reward versus the feeling of the craving is because dopamine is being released in different parts of the brain. Your body is very economical, in that what it will do is use and reuse things. You're a bunch of chemical reactions in a hunk of meat inside a flesh-and-bones skeleton. That's who you are right now.
