I Was a Lighting Operator in the New York Film Industry.

I started getting a lot of work as an operator. I sort of found myself somehow on the A-list, Independence Day on the New York shooting. And I did Ghostbusters II. Then I got this dream job of being the operator from Michael Chapman on a music video called Bad Michael Jackson. That was my first time with Scorsese and also with Mike Chapman, who's work I admired tremendously and still do. So we did that. But there was a, you know, kind of a style of working that was very established in New York as it was in Britain for the there to be a lighting cameraman and an operator. so I did that movie and it was difficult.
