How to Get Out of a Prison

A US embassy is supposed to help you during an emergency evacuation due to a war. The State Department's assistance does not include very important things, like paying for your home flight or helping you get to the embassy in the first place. There's only so much they can do to help get you out of harm's way. You really have to kind of be there. And maybe they're extenuating circumstances where they will go out of their way to provide you some sort of extra service, like transportation.
