Is Xi Jinping a Mediator?
I don't think that Xi Jinping is really that keen to be a mediator in this conflict. Clearly, Vladimir Putin is not interested in ending this war. And neither right now is Zelensky. But the Chinese are going to continue to provide assistance to Russia without triggering sanctions on Chinese companies. A fork, I was told, could be lethal aid if in the wrong hands.
