Are Natural Languages Formal Languages?

There is a very vibrant movement right now, which studies essentially what psychologists call the language or thought. And so these would be good candidates to analyze not just languages but possibly even the way we think. So yes and no they're going to be fundamentally misguided for some of them. But among these formal languages are going to be ones that are exactly the right ones.
