How Do the Controls Feel With All the New Abilities?

I wonder if you can ascend up to the main map in Hyrule or is that too thick for Link's send powers? I bet all those powers do have like a plus version in an eventual DLC something. It'll be very Looney Tunes style like digging through the earth's core and then you're on the other side of the world. You just stand over a lake and you're just like reeling it in for like 45 minutes. Are there noticeable drop downs in frame rate? And I think that's another concern that a lot of people have.
